Technical Support Services

ASA provides pro-bono technical support and coaching for home-based child care set-ups and mentoring services. This program runs three shifts 24/7 and helps in job placement of junior and high school students to either earn money or college volunteer hours. The curriculum includes teaching participants about state and federal child care laws, regulations and licensing requirements, and about American cultural norms concerning child care and child development. The program assists home-based child care business entrepreneurs by giving them a one-time financial assistance to partially cover their startup costs.
